J250-SP/J230SP
This aircraft is the 4 place Jabiru 450 with the rear seats removed and the gross weight labelled at 1320lbs to meet LSA standards rather than the 1540 lbs of the J450. If there is a roomier LSA on the market, I can't find it! Click
to view J250-SP specs, performance and pricing(pdf) on the Jabiru USA web site.

The J230 is the newest model. It is the J250 fuselage with a new wing. Faster and with lower empty weight it is a new favorite. Checkout the J230 page on the Jabiru USA web site. Pricing is the same as the J250

Snapshots below.

Rear cargo area- this was designed as  a 4 place
aircraft!

Looks aren't everything but.....

      ....it looks really good!

Always wanted glass? Shown here with optional dual EFIS,  Garmin SL40 com, Garmin GTX327 txpr.

J170-SP
The J170 is the J160, long used in Australian flight schools, with a longer wing for higher density altitudes and, let's face it, large Americans. This aircraft has a over 600lb useful load! Designed from the ground up as as a trainer and runabout, It has far more interior room than a Cessna 150 and outperforms the 150. Our 330lb student successfully completed his FAA Light Sport checkride in October and are about to start a 6' 4" student. With cylinders and 85hp, it sips fuel and, like the 6 cylinder J250, many maintenance consumables such as spark plugs, oil filters, etc. are available in auto parts stores. We have been using this aircraft for 18 months in a flight school at our home field and have validated the low cost of operation! With a 20% cash down loan it cash flows at 25 hours per month and anything over 30 is pure profit.  Click for specs, performance and pricing from the Jabiru USA website and take a look at some J170 snapshots below.

Roomy cockpit- note the optional dual stick. It looks a little unusual but great for dual instruction. Standard panel shown. Glass panel is available.

The guy in the photo isn't me but I'm 6' 2" and have no problem fitting in. George, the sales manager at Jabiru USA is even taller and he slides right in too.
